  • I work exclusively with adult women in North Carolina navigating trauma, anxiety, or shame. Many of my clients come to me with this lingering feeling they need to constantly “prove” or “earn” approval/love from others or specific people.

  • Sessions are conversational, grounded, and paced to your nervous system. Some sessions focus on EMDR processing, while others may include resourcing, parts work, somatic tools, or skill building.

Therapy is flexible and responsive to what you need that day.

  • Most clients attend therapy weekly or bi‑weekly, depending on their needs and goals. I also have plenty clients who prefer a monthly schedule - especially if you are doing longer sessions (2 hour sessions). We can arrange this however is needed to best fit your needs and scheduling. Frequency can change over time and is always discussed collaboratively.

  • I do not accept any insurance. I do not provide super bills as of now.

This is a private‑pay therapy practice, and insurance is not accepted.

  • Not accepting insurance allows for greater privacy, flexibility, and depth of care. Insurance often requires a diagnosis, limits session length, and restricts treatment approaches. Private‑pay therapy allows us to focus on you as a whole person, not a billing code.

  • No. At this time I do not provide super bills.

My practice is 100% out of pocket pay without insurance reimbursement eligibility.

  • A very limited number of reduced‑fee sessions may be available depending on availability. Priority is given to current clients who are experiencing financial hardships.

Please feel free to ask during your consultation if cost is a concern.

If I do not have a space available, I will be happy to connect you with other therapist that do have availability or accept insurance.

  • Yes. I offer virtual therapy to women located anywhere in North Carolina. Online sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform and allow therapy to fit more naturally into your life without commuting or added stress.

  • Research shows that virtual therapy can be just as effective as in‑person therapy for many concerns, including trauma and anxiety. EMDR can be done successfully online, and many clients find they feel more comfortable and open when meeting from their own space.

  • I do offer in-person sessions in Wilson, North Carolina.

    and

    Walk & Talk Sessions

    • We can meet at a park to sit in nature or go for a walk. These sessions are offered for 60 min. only and require at least one virtual session first.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma‑informed therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel overwhelming. Instead of talking through events repeatedly, EMDR helps the nervous system resolve what is stuck and restore a sense of safety and control.

  • EMDR can be helpful if you feel emotionally triggered by past experiences, struggle with anxiety or shame, or notice patterns that don’t change with insight alone. You do not need to remember every detail of an experience for EMDR to work. We assess readiness together before beginning.

  • Absolutely. While I love EMDR, there are many other modalities I pull from in my work. I have plenty clients who have 0 interest in EMDR. We still work together and see great progress. This is your experience and choice.
